Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Good Bordeaux that isn't crazy expensive. Pencil lead, currants. Has a few years but probably needs another 5-10 more.

Intro

The 2018 isn't the greatest, even though I left it to air for a decent period of time. Not a great deal of flavour and I would not buy this (this was a present).

Lovely selection with a traditional French meal of mussels and steak.

September 2021. Good wine, it can probably wait for more years.

Not the good bottle

April 2, 2021. Goodbye Tucson w/ J2, Jack D, C. Great left bank Bordeaux for the price. Serious black fruit, nicely integrated tannins. Feast purchase. Drink now.

Anni wine

Tart and spicy with sizzling acid from mid-palate through a long finish. Drinking bright and young.
