Possibly my favorite Margaux property for PV ratio... classic Bordeaux structure, taught tannins, refreshing acidity, black fruit, some plum and cassis, pencil shavings and minerality, with just enough extract and fruit intensity to avoid austerity. Fantastic for the vintage.

Chalky, balanced Bordeaux that hits all the expected points without anything truly exemplary sticking out.

Beauty of a nose with sweet cedar, wet asphalt, dried cranberries, and almost a potpourri-like quality. Oak and blackberry dominate the palate with 2 hours of decanting, but it's very young. Velvety and soft, with luscious fruit and a touch of minty chocolate on the finish. Nice value.

The best way I can describe this wine is serious. It is intense, earthy, big bold flavors, and very...serious. This could use some time in the decanter and to age a few more years. I felt like this wine has no sense of humor, but that's not a bad thing.
