Age coming forward, sweet tobacco, fresh leather, cedar and with cooked blackberry and red cherry. Words can't do it justice it's almost singing from the glass with still a nice black pepper note and a wonderful earthy mushroom note.

The tannins have really mellowed out. Still a fantastic acidity and all working in balance on the palate all those flavours coming through with a roasted meat that compliments well. An almost mint fresh feel with its lengthy finish.

The wine is in its prime and goes down so well.

The hype of aged wine can be justified when it's like this. A real treat and superb right now, I would be scared to let this go much further.
