A typical more regional Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Youthful with some degree of complexity, fruit-forward of plenty of dark cherry and mulberry, a bit smoky, woody and erathy, with some persistent tannins. Rich and textured mouthfeel, mid-long finish with some astringency, well-balanced and taste better with food rather than by itself. It needs to be splashed decanted for 30-45 minutes to appreciate its potential.
