Dark purple tawny and opaque. Notes of gravel stone, freshly cut cigar, saddle leather, mocha and some barnyard floor. Has a great earthiness to it. Smooth in the mouth with great structure. The fruit and finish are slightly dry, and with that I suspect the wine is slightly past its most powerful peak. But overall the perfume of the wine is amazing and certainly memorable.

Elegant, refined and in a perfect spot right now, with resolved tannins, somewhat candied fruit, tilting towards dried red currants, plums, figs and herbal additions. Long and graceful.

Started of rather muted. Dark cherry color with some Amber at the edge. Few hrs the fruit came out to play with a nice hint of cedar and currant.. Not the most powerful La Mission but still a fun drink. Theses are ready to roll right now.
