A pristine btl of 70 LM with stunning aromatics that is incredibly rich & sweet with blackberry, cassis fruits, licorice, cedar, saddle leather, soy, camphor, smoke & cigar box. Full bodied & complex, that has many years ahead. Amazing!

Jan 28th, 2018Beautiful drinking La Mish showing great purity of sweet red & black fruits with good weight and long finish showing the classic cedar, leather, cigar, scorched earth, graphite along black olive and soy. So good and quickly drained!

1970 vintage. Ch. La Mission Haut Brion from half bottle. Mushroom, earthy, slight Brett, black pepper, pencil shavings, metallic - very mature. Interesting nose! On the palate, high acidity, high tannins - ripe and integrated, medium minus body, medium plus flavour concentration and medium plus finish. Still alive....just!
