Medium ruby , violet with ruby rim . Quite spicy herbaceous nose , dusty cassis, mineral and a touch of sweet oak . Quite dusty , tobacco tinged cassis and wet stone notes on the palate . Quite cool and strict acidity on the palate , slightly green tannins, balanced alcohol . Slight clipped finish and overall misses a bit of stuffing . Probably needs another 3 or 4 years and will last ok a further 5 or so
