Lots of dark cassis, dry big tannins, used expresso grounds, bright ripe cherries, soft earth, wood shavings, lead pencil, nice acidity.

Good Bordeaux if it sold for $25, but at $75, this bottle has little to justify its high cost. Tastes like a lackluster St. Julien with no earthiness or leather or solid tannins. Just mediocre.
