Dec 20th, 2018This was a tasting at the Chateaux. Composition was mostly red fruit. Red cherries, red currant, raspberry, some definite hints of blackberry, plum and black currant. Second layer of floral notes and soft spices. Medium complexity. Medium tannins that linger at the back of the mouth quite well. Something about the balance of this particular wine that I enjoyed more than the other St. Emilion wines. Will age quite well over the next 20 years but could be opened earlier as desired.
