Grand Cru Classé St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

This is a pretty good Parker wine. Just try to ignore the oak, which is integrated but still too obvious.

Balanced fruit, jammy nose, smooth finish. With lamb.

Thought it was fine. Based on other reviews of this bottle I can only assume I got a bad bottle. Nevertheless, that counts against the brand.

Clear, deep purple in color signifying a relatively young wine. Some plum and dark cherry along with hints of cedar and tobacco from the oak. Full body with medium acidity and a long finish.

Ripe vintage but really well balanced. Great bang for the buck.

This was a baby. Drinking OK now and will improve. Very pronounced aromas of cedar, red currant, red cherries, raspberries. Incredible finish, full body, med+ tannin.
