Med to light body with a lot of minerality tannins hide most of the oak. Cork was starting to dry and split on opening

Med plus tannins, med acidity, oak very noticeable on the nose but acidity and tannins mask most of the aromas on the palate. Drank this grand cru right bank with chimichurri lamb and it paired ok. Not my favorite Bordeaux.

Attractive on the nose showing blueberry with hints of old oak and a distant hint of spice, alluringly pulling me in, but unfortunately a tease, as the wine is flat. It's drinkable - but that's it. On the other hand, the restaurant is completely charming! I am having a brilliant snail presentation lightly oiled and lightly crisp (think grilled calamari) with sprouts and spinach leaves huddled together in a brioche bowl, in no way overwhelming, but instead cuddling the escargot and maintains its naked elegance (helping the wine). A very warm place, simplistically stunning, quaint where glasses touch and tingle and conversations are soft and harmonious - do it!
