Was super tight on open. Decanted 3-4 hrs. Opened nicely. Tastes of black cherry, cocoa powder, white pepper, and pomegranate seed(?). Finished with a nice wash of smooth tannins. Delicious. Thanks to Amy and Hal for sharing!

09' vintage drunk July '15.

Started off well enough, but never blossomed despite decanting 1 hour, leaving overnight, and a 2nd night. 3rd night was much better. Raspberry with a soft milky finish.

An adequate wine that wouldn't embarrass you in front of guests. White fish and thin slices of beef.

Will not purchase again, unless it has at least 8 years on it.

At its likely peak now, wonderful dark and fruity. Apricot overtones, opened nicely and balance was excellent.
