Bekaa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Vintage 2023 - made from cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Reminded me in expression of Loire cabernets: paprika/Bell pepper, old wood, high acidity. #lebanon

Verticals tasting 2019/2013/10/07/2004. At London Wine Fair. 2004 still had fruit and tannins so beautifully smooth. The 2019 was drinkable now but it would be a shame not to age it a few more years. Very surprised at the longevity.

A great year

Pretty decent Cab out of the Bekaa Valley, somewhere between California and French Cab. Good balance if acidity, tannin and fruit. Quite drinkable with kabobs.

My favourite with my favourite 👨🏻 dad

Bordeaux blend from Lebanon. 60% Cab, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot. Plenty of aging potential with this one, but opened up nicely after a 2 hour decant. Dark fruit, smoke, graphite.

I find this Cab to be quite drinkable if not spectacular

Smoky and dry

Loved it. Big fruit flavors with a smooth finish. Difficult to stop drinking
