Drank 9\25\20. Nice with lomo saltado.

Nose is medium minus with notes of soil, plum, and a bit of spice. On the palate, plums, cocoa nib, and earth. Finish is medium, with black fruit and a bit of wood spice. Medium tannins. Not a ton of fruit, but quite well balanced drink now lighter, and would pair well with beef, lamb, or even poultry.

3\21\7\4\3 + 50 = 88 pts.

Very earthy on the nose, almost musty. Strong mineral flavor with some sweetness. Black cherry notes. Not a lot of tannins

Unimpressed on all aspects. After many years of drinking Italian and French wines I’m seriously questioning the world’s perception that French wines are the best. Italians make the best wine and are humble enough to charge reasonable prices. Viva Italia!
