Didn’t have this with food, had this with a wonderful book about France. Strong truffle and braised spicy meat flavors along with some leather. Over the course of the bottle of tannins that were present faded to a lovely chewy fruit that was juicy without any dryness.

The best way to describe the flavor was almost a buttery leather. Kind of leather in a saddle wax she has to hit that gave way to actually fruity berry flavors. It Mello overtime and the leather when a bit to earthier flavors but overall a very interesting and wonderful wine.
