A Malbec I actually like. Dark dark blackberry fruit tempered by dark stony minerality. And a woodsy underbrush note. Mouthfilling, with loads of relatively (for Malbec) soft tannin. Dark berry and mineral flavors are very pure. Very nice for a dinner on a snowy winter night.

Dark chocolate and tabaco notes with dark berries the original Malbec from Cahors a souvenir of another era when wine was made by poets.

Barnyard, smoke and funk. Sounds like a band name, I like it.

Big, bold, and juicy. So, so very funky. Like a dang barnyard. Quite dark with a smoky nose with just a bit of berry. More red berries, plums, and spice on the palate. Really nice ripe tannins and a smooth finish. Who knew that the birthplace of Malbec made the best ones?!
