Another test to see if you can get good value Bordeaux’s. This was a 2014 Bordeaux found for about $30 from Valore Cellar in Cabramatta. Deep ruby red with an orange edge. On the nose is ripe cherry, dark chocolate, and graphite almost reminds me of a cherry ripe. The ripe cherry and berries are the most prevalent followed by the graphite. It’s medium body with a decent finish. Fine tannins with a long finish that almost turns orange. Not bad for the price and age.
