Gave this several hours of air. Medium bodied with lots of red fruits and tannins still a little grippy. Would give this a few more years for tannins to soften, but really don't think you will see much overall improvement in the wine do to the poor vintage.

For an off vintage this certainly still delivers incredible value on top of a very nice wine. Not overly complex, but well balanced with lush black fruit and cedar flavors. Drinking very well now right out of the bottle. Lovely food wine, enjoyed with French onion soup and Thai curry mussels.
