Pine needle and earthy nose; Smoke, leather, black dark fruit core; violet color and great minerality and structure. Very good and would drink more of this bottle.

Needed a few minutes to open, but the bitter dark berry, graphite, leather, rocks and violets were all there, and did not feel like leaving any time soon. Tannins are right where you want them, and the richer than expected body held the grilled/toast and meaty tang of the mid-palate through finish perfectly. I'm no Bordeaux fan, but I would drink this again given the chance.
