Best 89 gruaud Larose I've tasted. Needs at least 2 hours in decanter to really start showing. Very much a cellar worthy wine.

Amazement ran through my mind as I sniffed away this!?! Dark velvety colours and a sort of acidic plum action. We drank this softly for the first 20 minutes and it turned out simply beautiful. We tried holding a few glasses till the end and regretted doing that as it drank better initially.

Very light brett, mid is soft and round. Plum and spicebox. Little matchstick, and light mothball? on nose. Finish gets bright and lively with cherry notes
