Château-Grillet (Neyret-Gachet)
Viognier
A light, chalky nose with bright floral notes, lemon and slate. On the palate beautifully crisp with lemon oil, a hint of sweetness and gentle spice. Brilliantly balanced and singular this is an understated but real quality wine. The Raveneau of Viognier- and one to give to people who say they don’t like it.

Mar 27th, 2015This is delicious. Bright, chalky, dry and precise. White flowers, a hint of peach, almost Raveneau like in character. Crazy stuff, flavor profile of Chablis and the oiliness of the Rhône. Delicate and characterful. Never had a viognier remotely like this. Lovely

Nov 4th, 2017A lovely find. Almond-skin, honeysuckle, orange & lemon blossoms, peach sorbet, and a generally delicate but exotic profile. Lively acid. Always a love affair with classic Viognier.

Mar 9th, 20162009 vintage. Restrained on the nose. Light stone fruits and flowers - lavender. On the palate, medium minus body, medium plus alcohol, medium acidity, decent finish. Elegant, integrated wine - citrus on the palate and white peach. Slight chalky undertones. Very decent.
