After a run of Aussie Shiraz from Northern VIC, specifically Beechworth I wasn't expecting such fruit. Very dark fruits on the nose and on the palate maybe too fruit forward. Nice wine, but definitely a surprise with its new world appearance. Let's see how things are in night 2.
