Weird one indeed. This one starts off with all the makings of a pretty good Bordeaux red. And then it just dies. The nose has a lot of black licorice and cinnamon. The entry is more of a "fig pudding" and truffle towards the middle, and has nice acidity in the middle. Then it just craps out and doesn't appear to go anywhere. I think I remember my first bottle going better than this one. Thankfully I coravinned instead of just popping and pouring. Not sure what I think about this one, although I'm pretty certain that this one will only last another few years at the most. An "OK" wine to enjoy now, but if you have these you might as well start popping the corks.
