2015 vintage. Another great value from the most confidential Bordeaux appellation. This estate with 60 hectares of vines is owned by Yves Glotin, who is also president of the Syndicat des Graves de Vayres. Mainly Merlot (65%) with Cabernet Sauvignon. A bit timid initially, but give it 15 minutes in the glass or decant to discover a classic elegant Bordeaux without hard edges. Very good value at less than 10 euros. Abv. 13,5%.

Nice Bordeaux with good body and a pleasant bouquet. 65% Merlot and 35% Cab pairs nicely with red meats. Very budget friendly red that is also good for sipping.

Young but good. Black currant, strawberry, light fruit. Smooth. Drank at Italian restaurant in nice square in Bordeaux after a visit to the Cité du Vino
