Because... Steak! Chateau Garraud 2009 Lalande de Pomerol! It's just a baby. Hour plus decant showed a soft palate with nice blueberry mixed with dark red fruits, followed by hints of earthy veggies hiding in the background. Finish has a good bit of black tea and tanninic astringency without being out of place. Let's look at you in 4 years.
