This is a lightweight, well-balanced, classic Bordeaux. Red fruit, some floral notes, not much depth or complexity. Drink up.

The run on 2005 Bordeaux’s continues...
I’ve had a few Ch. Pipeau over the years. This was easily the best. Not normally a wine for significant aging, this one has actually held up well. It is at, or just after peak, but it also wasn’t showing too many of its 15 years. It has some funk to blow off, but it opened up and was very peasant. 🙏🏻 Thanks JT.

Drank very well. Not super complex but really well balanced between fruit, oak, and secondary notes. Delicious!!
