Poured Bdx and Napa for some novices, to demonstrate stylistic differences. Wasn’t a fair comparison, per varietals and age, but directionally right nonetheless. This was showed very well IMO. Nice complexity and still plenty of structure for aging. I gave it 8 hours of slow ox.

Excellent QPR! Great vintage and maker definitely helped, but I was very impressed with this. Well balanced with good dark cherry fruit. I would say a nice mix of Bordeaux and Napa. Paired nicely with pork loin and cheese perogies.

Wegmans $35. Also had it at Club Med but it was a later vintage and not as good.
