Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Don't remember much about this one. It's been a while and just catching up on old postings.

Good but falls short of being great. Somewhat clumsy and one-noted.

Strong opening. Peppers and dark chocolate. Good value.

Elegant with a bit of heat. Violets and fruit. 2003

Exceptional Bordeaux from Saint -Emilion that shows the bargains that can be achieved in the Bordeaux market. This wine has evolved nicely and has potential to develop further. It has great ripe fruit and saddle leather overtones. A wine that will be fun to enjoy over the next 10-12 years.
