Vintage 2005 - smell of autumnleaves, even truffle impression, the taste still has a sturdy edge.

Very dark garnet- nose of dark fruit & some earth & oak. On the dry side but clear fruit at first- black plum, blackberry (?). Strong tannins, good acidity- a good French red for the money!

100% Merlot. Lovely chocolate nose. Med. plus tannins. Let sit in glass to smooth. Grt with steak. Easy drinking. 29.00 when bought. In 2008.

decanting is vital. I heard Michel Rolland was behind this wine and his famous oaky touch did embody alongside.
