Mint, tobacco, some dark cherries and dust out of the gates. Palate is terrific. Juicy, chewy and deep. Very dense and shows off how great 2010 is. Amazing purity on this. Fantastic palate presence.

We drank this with a DELICIOUS pork chop. Unfortunately it was not the right pairing. We only started enjoying it after the taste of our dinner was gone. And then it really started delivering. Lots of levels. Savory and earthy.

Very smooth drinkable daily red. A very straight forward wine and good drink but was hoping for more oak or fruit.

Needed 15-20 to open up. Very young - 2013 - though did hold up ok to truffles, poached lobster, braised beef rib and your current foam trend dishes. Feel like we got hit with a 3X markup, which smarts.
