Domaines Sacha Lichine Rock Angel Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend

Côtes de Provence rosé is a real treat. This one acts exactly the way a pink wine should, with strawberries, citrus and a slightly herbal touch on the nose. The palate brings the strawberries in first, and a nice little cucumber element pokes through. An herbal grassy texture is no surprise in this bone-dry wine with an easy acidity that refreshes but does not sting. The lengthy finish has the herbs hanging around quite a while.

I was wondering what happened to this. Opened Friday afternoon and then it disappeared. Somebody took it to a guest bathroom at some point. Rock on.

Apricots - some nice fruit flavor. But alcohol is out of balance. I prefer whispering angel of Declan’s roses.

Lovely. Described as rise champagne without the bubbles. Accurate.

Early sunrise. White flower bouquet. A taste that is unique. I’d go with honeysuckle fading in the morning. No clear fruit translation yet more towards a field of greens.
