Mar 29th, 20252014 vintage. An older Beaujolais cru from a great estate is always a good idea. This 9 years old Moulin-à-Vent is a perfect example. It features layered fruit, a solid ripe tannic backbone, and refreshing acidity. It seems to be only at early maturity, I expect this to age well for at least a decade. Terrific value too. Abv 12,5%.

Medium bodied, wild strawberries and spice, hint of developed gaminess from bottle age. Mouth filling, mealy tannins. Cask aged but not too much oak showing, which is good in my book
