Kinda like Jordan wearing #45...way past it's prime. Unlike Jordan, not sure this wine ever had a prime. Not good and not going to get better. Don't use this to study Fleurie or Gamay in general. Paid $9, might not be worthy of cooking wine.

Fleurie without the flowers. Reticent, unexpressive nose with a rather unpleasant industrial finish.

Lovely Thanksgiving wine. Earthy with that beautiful, bright, Beaujolais fruit. Happy Thanksgiving all!

Tasty French wine. Moderately full bodied. Hints of spice with fruit undertones.

I think Chateau Des Labourons translated means wine from the Lab.

Pleasant but not memorable. Definitely lost the bright florals and fresh fruit flavours that were expected

Wow! Wanted to get to know Beaujolais, so found this on menu at Rye in Louisville. Knew they were generally best young, so was on guard, but what a nice wine! Sweet flowers and very slight spiciness on the nose. Not "sweet" on the tongue, just nice juicy red berries/cherries come to mind. So easy to enjoy and paired well with the both the cheese board and beef. Tannins were subdued, finish was clean...should have got a bottle! Nice choice for the wine list, Rye!
