Fleurie Gamay

Kinda like Jordan wearing #45...way past it's prime. Unlike Jordan, not sure this wine ever had a prime. Not good and not going to get better. Don't use this to study Fleurie or Gamay in general. Paid $9, might not be worthy of cooking wine.

Fleurie without the flowers. Reticent, unexpressive nose with a rather unpleasant industrial finish.

Usually a huge fan of cru Beaujolais but this seemed reduced and shy on the fruit side not a fan

Servicible but not extraordinary Fleurie from Costco rolling in at $13

Lovely Thanksgiving wine. Earthy with that beautiful, bright, Beaujolais fruit. Happy Thanksgiving all!

Liked the color. Olive Red. $22 RCH Good mid week wine. Are with Porchetta. 2019.
Tart Cherry.

Tasty French wine. Moderately full bodied. Hints of spice with fruit undertones.

I think Chateau Des Labourons translated means wine from the Lab.

Pleasant but not memorable. Definitely lost the bright florals and fresh fruit flavours that were expected
