Powerful red fruit bomb...first time I think we're testing a bit older Gamay - it's still fruity (red currant) & fresh, but tastes now balanced and round with addition of oak and tart cherries, but higher + acidity predominate palate, medium mellow tannins , very quaffable red. Luis Jadot bought Cheateau des Jacques in 1996.
