Sélection Vieilles Vignes Corbières Grenache Blend

This is a delicious, balanced, every night wine for about $10. Lively red and black berries and tons of stony minerals on the nose. Really pure smelling. Nice concentration and weight counterbalanced by good acidity and lots of crushed stone minerality. Smooth texture. Pure good-length finish. If you buy cases, this is one to get.

Amazing south of France Wine. Grenache Carignan blend? No oak but still dense and long finish.

Lots of flavour. Not sweet. Nice with a red meat meal. Not my taste for sipping.

Inoffensive.

Red French blend of Carignan (45%), Grenache (35%), Syrah (20%). 91 by Wine & Spirits; Costco at $8.89. Red fruit. Slightly bite-y at finish. OK for everyday wine.
