Chamomile, quince, bruised apple, honey and intense bees wax aroma. Not the cleanest nose, suggestive of Muenster. Freshness and minerality are lovely with excellent length and focus on the palate but the aromatic profile will be a turnoff for some.

There is a lot of wine in here for $22, but at this age I do think it’s maybe a bit disjointed. Typical Chenin aromas of bruised apple and honey, but there is also a seashell/mineral Chablis-like component, and a degree of round plush floral Riesling-like aroma. The palate is dominated by very very tart green apple and searing acidity. I think with a few years the nose would integrate nicely and the palate soften a bit.

Magic after an hour +. Fresh cut flowers. Bees wax. Honey. Honeycrisp Apple. Chalky long finish. Mouth watering acidity. Like licking a rock.

Ahhh underipe chenin blanc...how I love you. Honeycrisp Apples, pretty white flowers, a touch of ginger, nice minerally finish on the end.

From my first Kermit visit. Bracing acidity. Super hi toned lemon and the greenest, under ripe apple on the planet. 13%

Honeyed with decaying Apple on the nose. On the palate it is taut, mineral with searing acid. The fruit in the palate is more tart than the nose would lead you to believe. I think that this wine could be very interesting with a few years bottle age.
