
Oxidation by accident or design? 2006 Savennieres. Clear light gold. Sherry, ripe apples, and faint caramel aroma. Sharp acids, lime, dry, with a slightly bitter finish. Not as complex as some of the yellow wines I love.

Whoa... day 2 and I’ve changed my mind about this. Unremarkable on day 1. Now it’s exploding with candied lemon, beeswax and diesel.

Really opened up after two days in eto! Stony white fruit minerals leading into firm chewy texture and long finish laced with acids and bite. Upping by two to 9.1. Only bottle unfortunately.
