Héritiers de Lambert Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Nose: pencil lead, slight blue cheese.
Taste: black cherry, blackberry, tobacco, chocolate, old coffee, dried meat. 70% merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
5% new oak, 18 months in barrel.

Not very interesting, green flavored dominate the palate.

Decent black fruit, classically structured. Unexciting but all present and correct

Not my favorite. A bit too “deep” and dark.

Nice with cheese. Took a bit to open up but did so nicely.

Very decent Merlot with very decent price! ✌️

Earthy, smooth, and spicy. Quite enjoyable.
