I don’t often use the words “value” and “Bordeaux” in the same sentence but I believe Wine Enthusiast got this one right here. For just under $10 at the local Costco, this is a steal. 🧐👍🏼

Rich, ripe dark fruit on the nose with perfectly integrated french oak.
The massive blackberry notes on the nose stuck out to me but I also picked up some cocoa and spice undertones. This wine is definitely capable of complimenting any grilled meat or on its own. .

The blend is 60% Merlot , 20% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Thanksgiving: another QP, a bit sweet at tasting but suspect glassware had an impact. Needs some room.

Great with steak, a light blend

Bought this at Costco for #tuesdaywine. it really didn’t taste like anything. The nose smelled like fish and salt, like being at a pier when the tide’s gone out. It got better after breathing for about half an hour. Based on other reviews I wonder if I got a bad bottle.

Delicious Bordeaux I got for $12.99 at Wegmans.

Very dry and peppery. Would be great with a steak, but too much pepper flavor for just drinking.

Rich and full bodied. 70% Merlot. Generous blackberry fruit with cedar, leather and Smokey notes. A little bit of dark chocolate on the finish. Gripping tannins.

Pie wine, tasted quite young. Soft tanins though, and light bodied.
