My rep cautioned me that this wine is "nervy". And even that is perhaps an understatement. Lots of complexity on the nose with ample tropical notes of papaya, tangerine zest, honeysuckle. The acidity is the real star...vibrant and bracing, it courses through layers of minerality, crushed pineapple and French oak to a mouthwatering finish.

Saturday study in Puligny Montrachet.... binary exposure... Where did the tropics come in? Pleasurable but odd.
