One of the best bottles of red Burgundy had all year and definitely the best from Pommard. Beautiful deep red color that mirrors the gorgeous, forward, dusty, red fruit flavors with nice stony minerality in the background. Very luscious and velvety, as most 2009's are. Just a striking wine.

Earthy but velvety. Deep, warm, tangly. Character of a racehorse!
Nice purchase wine buddies 3 years ago at the chateau. 2009 year of great personal emotions
