Red of coals in a camp fire and plums. Smells of toast and strawberry jam. Flavors are dry and tight. Opens up to licorice and canned black cherry in light syrup.

Wonderful aroma. Taste is a big bold dry leathery wine. Very earthy. Not overly sweet or fruity.

Nice deep color and robust flavor. Was even better on the 2nd day. Some spice, pepper and dark fruit. Was a tad dry on first pass but mellowed out. Great pp of $10 so will pick up even more.
