Vieilles Vignes Costières-de-Nîmes Red Rhone Blend

Bought this #wine based on a recommendation, and it's excellent. #France

I'm in love with this wine. At my hotel I pay €30 per bottle but at the local market I pay €10 a bottle. It's very reasonable but tastes like a top shelf. Nice fruit notes with a hint of licorice.

Let the wine open up for a few minutes.
Taste notes:
Minerals
Sweet balsamic
Dark fruit/berries
Earthy and dry with luscious tannins
Raspberries linger on the palate

Definitely will get another bottle.

Fragrant menthol. Very soft and plush feel, shouts blueberry with a little flowers and spice. Ever so slightly heat on the finish. Very impressive. I'm becoming s fan of m gassier's wines. Very good value.

This vintage has room to grow: Mulled current, raspberry, and dark cherry; woodsy-spice favors and earthy forrest finish. What 15% alcohol wine possesses balance and flavors as good as this?! Southern Rhone strikes again! Beautiful wine.

2013v. Another great wine by Michel Gassier. Blueberry, ripe blackberry, and a little violet flowers on the nose. All of that plus a little earth and a little more lavender flower finish on the palette. Great balance, grippy but fast fading tannins. 15% ABV. This year's vintage is 66% grenache, 22% syrah, 6% mourvedre, and 6% carignan.

A wonderful Rose from France. Nice structure an vibrant acidity
