Was really excited about this one after trying some fantastic 2014 Bordeaux recently. This one is from an area just between Margaux and St Julien and equidistant from the water... hence looked like a good bet. Also partner f the Cru Bourgeois, and considered a Cru Superieur in the past. This vintage is almost purple tint, some red fruit and earth on the nose, but not as fruity as the pricier wines; strong tannins though... could use a bit more time in the bottle. After one hour open still not terribly impressed.
