Château de la Terrière
Vin Sauvage à Poil Gamay
"Natural" Regnié from a traditional Beaujolais producer. Much more extract than one would ordinarily expect, but that's "natural" wine - expect surprises.

Oct 12th, 2021Much more full bodied than I expect from a Beaujolais. Blackberries and dark fruits initially and a little funky and dry at the end. Perfect with polenta and roasted mushrooms

Feb 18th, 2020Wow. The funk is arresting. No kidding you have to wait a good 10 mins to aerate or it will be too strong on the nose. After 10 mins you can actually taste the other flavors and it has a nice soft dry mouthfeel. The flavor is dark and blackberry and kind of tastes like communion wine without the sweetness... intense, yet lighter bodied than most wines with this flavor profile. I like it but I’m also just feeling weird and surprised? Like maybe drink this when you’re in a brooding state but don’t want to be destroyed
