Warm black fruit, with black tea and tobacco notes, packed with charcoal on the backbone. Silky despite its youth/grip.

2010 excellent! First sniff reminds me of a good antique shop: old leather wood with mushroom and grapefruit notes as well.

Take this review with a grain of salt because I might have opened the bottle too early. I let it breath for an hour before tasting as well. I felt as if the wine held back in flavor. The body of the wine, although dark in color and subtle fruit on the nose, seemed to be "locked up" and tight. The finish diminished quickly as well. Important to note that I am well aware of the great wines that come from Fronsac and will try dabbling in this region again.
