Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

A very nicely aged Right Bank Bordeaux.

Full bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Showing black fruits with earth, vegetables, wood, licorice, wet leaves, herbs, forest floor, tobacco leaf, spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish, with grippy tannins (after 2 hours) and tangy raspberries.

This 24 year old, from a great vintage, still has 10 years in it. Very enjoyable by itself or with food. I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.

A blend of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

Found this bottle at work but it wasn't stored probably. I enjoyed it though because it was a great price and I could really taste he dirt

Probably was 5 years too late drinking this one. Had to dump.

Mmmmm. Nice aged Bordeaux. Maybe starting to decline a bit but still quite fruity and lively. Very nice!
