We were unsure until we tried it blind against some other wines. It was our favorite. Fruity aroma with a hint of oak and spice. Very long balanced finish. Maybe it needed time to open up but when we had it on day 2 it was really good.

Juicy, medium body red with high tannin, big red fruit, and a spicy finish (clove, cinnamon).

First impressions on its own were less than stellar..seemed thin light and acidy fruity..2nd time around (purchased 3 bottles at $13 can. .why not) with left over cabbage rolls it seemed to balance out quite pleasantly with less acid(balanced well with tomatoe sauce from the cabbage rolls and the juices from the cabbage roll meat) .finish was fruity and light.
