Bordeaux Supérieur Red Bordeaux Blend

Very barnyardy, supposedly a great year

Light ruby hue with a growing garnet tinge. Aromas of blackberry, bramble fruit, and strawberry jam, with hints of earth and mushroom. Medium-bodied, with soft, medium tannins and medium acidity. Palate is bright and plush, but rather light in character (maybe past its peak already). Complementary food wine.

75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc.

So well-balanced and perfect tannins for me

Not spectacular but a decent sipping red.

Full-bodied and fruity, not unlike Nathan Lane in "The Birdhouse."

Currant. Fruity. Blackberry. Low tannin.

Dusty rose blended with dried cherry and plum. Firm tannin structure joined by light to mild toasted wood (after ~30 mins aeration).
