2014v. Deep red with a lighter rim. Good nose of red fruits, especially cherry and a hint of dried strawberry. On the palette, there's that red fruit with a little clay earth, and just a hint of oak to add depth. (Producer's website says they use large barrels to age with 10% new French oak.) Dry with mild tannins and nice acidity. On face it's a very straightforward execution of an old world pinot noir, but it's clear that there's a clear attention to detail. Easy to pair with food. 13% ABV.
